It contains very old Grand Champagne and Borderies at the peak of their maturity and bloom. In terms of Le Nez, the main aromas of XO Initiale Extra are port wine, truffle and hot fruitcake.

Highland Park 40 Years Old Malt

Highland Park was established in 1798, shortly after the end of the American War of Independence and at a time when the French Revolution was at its height. When Napoleon was cutting a swathe through Europe, whisky had already been distilled at Highland Park for 12 years. Similarly, Highland Park 40 year old was distilled at a time of great change during the social and cultural revolution of the late 1960s.
